IoT Sweden wants to create societal benefit through the increased use of IoT in the public sector.
About us
IoT Sweden was established in 2014, and is one of 17 strategic innovation programmes in Sweden. We are funded by Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and the Swedish research council Formas in partnership through a joint national initiative focused on strategic innovation areas.
We have an annual budget of SEK 80 million, 50% of which is co-funded by external actors. We are governed by an external Board of Trustees and are led by a programme management team. The Programme Office and management is located at Uppsala University.
