Welcome to the January 2026 meeting of the Working Group Standards & Platforms!
ArcGIS is a widely used platform for Local Digital Twins, both in Sweden and Internationally by what Esri call Living Digital Twins. Björn Lahti, Daniel Gardevärn and Andreas Hall from Esri Sverige will be presenting ArcGIS with the assistance of Arkadiusz Szadkowski who act as Global Lead for ArcGIS Reality & Reality Mapping capabilities at Esri. They will address the questions in our questionnaire and highlight their capabilities by demonstrations.
We will also look a bit more at some Swedish engagements and roles in the international standardization regarding IoT, Digital Twins, Local Digital Twins, Smart Cities, Metaverse and CitiVerse.
As before, we conduct these meeting as hybrid meetings. You can participate by Zoom or physically on site. If you participate in person, please let me know if you like to join a common lunch, 11.30. I´ll be happy to send you an invite.
